PUUMSC2402582F ENERGY EFFICIENT Ultimax Spa Pump 230 Volt 56 Frame Two Speed 2"SD/CS, the proper replacement for p/n 1016030, 1016010, 1016039 PUUMS2402582FR, and many others.

8 Amps Fits Cal Spas, MAAX, and others. Also is the replacement for a single speed pump, when used on high speed only, US Motors or Century motor with industry standard 4x6.5" base, 3x5" bolt pattern.

Pump has 3.1" Outside Diameter threaded connections. The original pumps were marked Ultra Jet® by Vico

This motor is normally a big single capacitor, a split capacitor design. The dual capacitor motors are mostly discontinued now. The pump normally ships out with a 4 slot base under the motor. The old 6 slot base has been discontinued for some time and is not very available.

The Ultimax was first built by Vico using a GE 56 frame 6.5" diameter motor rated 8.0 or 8.8 amps, then later made by Sta-Rite, Pentair, and Balboa Water Group. Motor brands have been GE, Regal Beloit, Marathon, Franklin, Magnetek, Century, A.O. Smith, Emerson, and U.S. Motors, but the Ultimax pump head has remained the same, using the 8.0 amp impeller. Can be a variety of different model numbers and part numbers depending on the the parent company at the time of manufacture, the end customer, and the packaging and labeling details. Sometimes labeled as 2.0hp, 2.5, 4.0, and even 5.0hp, but they have all been the same 8 amp pump with the same flow and pressure, no matter what horsepower sticker was applied. This is a 1840 watt pump and motor.
