The old grey 4.5" impellers are gone, retired, replaced by 4.2" impellers. Impeller was redesigned by Waterway in 2016 and now the dimensions are 4.2" OD, 6 vanes, Intake ID 2.2", and vane opening width 0.3"

Waterway has implemented new molds for this impeller that has improved hydraulic performance and energy efficiency. The new designed impellers are completely compatible with older housings. Note: the wear ring that fits the old grey impeller is the proper,
correct wear ring for the newer black impellers. p/n 319-1380 (319-1380B if in a plastic bag).
