SP1525-Z-24-E Hayward Spa Pump Replacement 2.0HP 230V 8.4-10.5A 2-speed SD/CS This is a Spa Pump with 2 threaded adapters installed, to allow replacing a Hayward Spa Pump, without having to cut off the Hayward Spa Pump Unions and re-plumb, IF your lines are nice and flexible. The Hayward spa pumps used a proprietary thread and generally, Hayward spa pumps are very difficult to locate, as they have not been produced for some years. The position and location of the threads on this pump are somewhat similar to the original Hayward spa pump, but not exactly the same, so if you have good flex in your plumbing you may be able to install this with no re-plumbing. If your plumbing is somewhat rigid, you will probably have to re-do the discharge line, or both pvc lines to this pump.

SP1525Z24E, also available in 115V/11A, 115V/16A, 230V/8A, and low amp draw, energy efficient 2HP with 8.5A LASAR XL motor, as shown in photo with external capacitor on top of motor. Approx height to discharge is 7-1/2" length about 16-1/2".

Alternatively you can cut off both Hayward unions fittings, select a new side discharge pump with standard threads, then re-do your plumbing as needed to fit any new pump, using new standard union fittings.
