PUUF1003MF Softub pump, 1 speed, 115V, rated 11-12 amps. 5.6" diameter motor. This is the replacement pump/motor for Softub, and has an air cooled motor. When used with optional thermoplastic heat jacket, the Softub container must be modified to provide an air inlet and outlet to prevent overheating the motor. Minus pump volute front, so you can retain your present front with temperature sensors. Also replaces PUUF1000. Optional Heat-Flo thermal transfer jacket is p/n HJ-52B-48 and is listed under pump parts. AIR COOLED MOTOR WILL NOT OPERATE WITHOUT COOLING AIR AND WARRANTY IS VOID IF RUN WITHOUT COOLING AIR.
Pump container should have about a 4" diameter cooling vent near front of motor, and also one near rear. - with metal base 12A US Motors
