MPASHU506 Shown is an air switch for Ultra Jet bath pumps made by Herga Electric Ltd. MPASJAG It is held onto the motor by a threaded nut, 9/16-18 thread. Thread Outside Diameter is approximately 0.55" Labelling has varied over the years, but usually says 6871-AEF-U526 if 2 1/4" spade terminals present, and 6871-AEO-U126 or 6871-ACO-U106 or 6871-AKO-U122 if 3 spade terminals are present. Air switches for Lasco tubs, Universal Rundle tubs, Crane Plumbing tubs, and some Kohler or American Standard tubs have sometimes been an air switch made by Len Gordon for Ultrajet. These are marked JAG-4X25A or similar. Ultrajet air switches made by Pres-Air-Trol were marked TVA425C or TVA111K or similar. Tridelta or Tecmark air switches for this application with threaded body and flat panel nut are marked TBS-301 or TBS-310 or TBS-302, and if from Hydrabaths, p/n is 700325 air switch airswitch. Note: use this switch to replace 10 or 20 minute timers in pumps that have failed. Timer boards are not readily available any longer, and replacing them with a simple air switch is a cost effective and reliable way to repair a pump. AIRSWITCH |
